SOVEREIGN has been appointed master distributors for the UK and Europe for the PLANET + range of compostable cups, containers and lids.

Suitable for both hot and cold food and drinks and lined with Ingeo TM biopolymers made from plant sugar waste this range is Carbon Trust Certified and was the first compostable range to be BPI (Biodegradable Products Institute) certified in the States in 2009.

The superb quality of the products is immediately apparent and the range includes probably the best Double Wall compostable cup available. The compostable sip-through dome lids for the cups are all made to a very high standard and the range also includes compostable lids for the food containers – most other suppliers can only provide non-compostable lids made from PP. Up until now access to sustainable packaging has been mainly via specialist suppliers.
